Wednesday 16th June - 2010 More Trinity Updates and Melodic Rock Blowout Sale!
The recording of the new Eden's Curse album Trinity continues to progress very well. Thorsten has seven tracks to complete solos on and then he's finished all the guitars, Paul has around four songs to finish Bass too, whilst Alessandro and Michael are currently in the studio in Milan and Chicago, respectively, finishing up their parts right now as you read this!

Our star guest backing vocalist has completed their parts, and the other guys will commence once Michael is done. To say that there will be one or two surprises in store is an understatement to say the least!
The band are finalising the album tracklisting, release dates and will start working on artwork ideas with Thomas Ewerhard imminently when their photo shoot is completed in the coming week.
So, all in all folks - we are NEARLY there! We expect Dennis Ward to be mixing the album early next month.

The recording of the third Eden's Curse album Trinity is progressing well. Pete has completed all drum recordings and edits, whilst Paul will lay his final bass takes this week. Thorsten has just finished the basic rhythm guitar parts and he will start work on the Clean and Acoustic Guitar parts before finishing off Harmony Guitars and starting his solos - which he simply can't wait for!

Alessandro and Mike will be starting imminently in Milan and Chicago respectively, and our star guest singer is in the studio now as we type.
AFM Records have set have release date of 15th October for Trinity, and all looks to be going to plan to make that date.

Eden's Curse have released a digital single of their ballad “Man Against The World” with 100% of the profits being donated towards two charities – shelter.org.uk in the UK and feedthechildren.org in the USA.

Songwriter Paul Logue commented “We receive emails from our fans time and time again, but none moved me more than the one I received from Jared Hochstettler. He put together a montage on You Tube featuring some really powerful images of homeless men, women and children. It stopped me dead in my tracks and made me think about how fortunate I am. Right there and then I decided to do something about it and I'm delighted to gain the support of my band mates, record labels and Music By Mail in Germany, who assisted us with launching the track onto the worldwide portals, with a view to raising some money to help Shelter and Feed The Children”.

Friday 7th May - 2010 Melodic Rock Fest 2 Aftermath, New Merchandise & Trinity Update! As many of you have seen from the below news updates we ran into some problems in the USA which ultimately resulted in our proposed Live DVD & Audio Recordings being cancelled.
To cut a long and complicated story short, our keyboard player Alessandro Del Vecchio was denied access into the USA due to a misunderstanding with his Visa.
Subsequently, the band also discovered that their Visas were unsuitable for the purpose of their trip and immediately contacted an Immigration Attorney in Chicago who manage to liaise directly with the US Department of Homeland Security in order to gain clearance to be able to perform at the MRF2 show.
Thankfully this was granted late on Friday afternoon and the band, minus Alessandro, were able to perform their full headline set before all returning home to Europe.
Eden's Curse would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused, particularly to our Italian brother Alessandro whom we missed dearly on the trip, and we would like to thank everyone who rallied around to assist and support the band (you know who you are) to allow this to happen - especially our Attorney Kevin L. Dixler.
So, back to the music ...

The show itself was a resounding success for the band and they received a fantastic reaction from a packed venue and spoke to many delighted fans afterwards who were very complimentary of the bands performance.

Eden's Curse have cancelled all plans to record a Live DVD and Album at tomorrow's Melodic Rock Fest 2which is scheduled to take place at The Roadhouse in Elgin, Illinois, on Saturday May 1st.

Wednesday 21st April - 2010 New Live Guitarist Announced and Trinity Update!
Many apologies for the lack of updates here folks, but it's truly been heads down here at Camp Curse as the band have been working non-stop on the new album ... more on that later!
Now that European Airspace is opening up again after the chaos that ensued after the Iceland Volcano and that damn Ash cloud we are happy to press ahead with our plans for our debut performance in the USA.
We are delighted to announce that former Siam, Tigertailz and Paul Dianno's Killers guitarist Marcus Thurston will be joining us onstage as our secondary live guitarist for our performance at Melodic Rock Fest 2which is scheduled to take place at The Roadhouse in Elgin, Illinois, on Saturday May 1st.
The performance will be recorded for Eden's Curse first official Live DVD.

Thurston, a former band mate of Pete Newdecks in Killers, replaces Jay Parmar who left the touring line up in December after the bands UK Tour with Alestorm.
Over the last few months Marcus has been rehearsing like mad under the guidance of band guitarist Thorsten Koehne and reports have been very positive indeed.
The band welcomes Marcus to the fold and looks forward to jamming with him in the USA.
In other news, the recordings are progressing well on the new studio record "Trinity". Drums and Bass are done and Guitar recordings will commence after the MRF2 show, whilst Michael Eden will be recording vocals soon in the USA with a yet-to-be named Producer.

Pete Newdeck has entered Higher Studios in Tewkesbury, England, to begin recording the drums for the third Eden's Curse album Trinity.
The band aim to complete Trinity around the Summertime, under the
tutelage of long term producer Dennis Ward, and will recording tracks such as
Saints Of Tomorrow, No Holy Man, Can't Fool The Devil, Jerusalem Sleeps and a very special cover tune.
More studio reports will follow soon.

Eden's Curse were approached by MelodicRock.com owner Andrew McNeice to appear at his Melodic Rock Fest 2 concert event which is scheduled to take place at The Roadhouse in Elgin, Illinois, within minutes of downtown Chicago on the weekend of April 30th to May 2nd, 2010.
"MelodicRock.Com wanted diversity with this line-up and he shall have it" says Michael Eden, the bands singer. He adds "When Andrew requested The Curse we just couldn't say no! The wheels will be greased and the band will be firing on all cylinders. This should make an interesting few days sharing the stage with Y&T, Winger, Danger Danger, Jimi Jamison (Survivor), Crown Of Thorns, Alias and of course one time Journey vocalist Jeff Scott Soto's new band W.E.T. among many others. The Curse has wanted to play in America for quite some time and now we will do that along with capturing it live in a city I've played many times in the last twenty plus years".

Eden's Curse are also nearing completion of the writing phase for their third album, to be titled "Trinity", which will be recorded in Spring with the bands long term producer Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69/Angra/Krokus) once again at the helm. "Trinity" will mark the bands recording debut with new keyboard player Alessandro Del Vecchio (Glenn Hughes/Iain Paice/Moonstone Project/Edge Of Forever). A Fall 2010 release is planned with full promotion to follow.

Tuesday 15th December - 2009 Return from Tour update!
Greetings Cursed Ones! Thankfully we have all returned safe and well from our recent UK Tour with Alestorm and The Rotted and all went swimmingly well. The vibe in the band now is absolutely sky high and we believe that the new lineup is the best yet and we can't wait to come back and play again for the excellent UK audiences.

Our own personal highlights on the Tour were the shows in Grimsby, Sheffield, Glasgow and Nottingham, not to mention our appearence at Hard Rock Hell III which we will not forget.
We thank each and every person who came along to the shows, especially those who came up to talk to the band and also purchase merchandise, your support and business was greatly appreciated.
Special mentions go to Dave Green, Stephen Bate and Steven and James Gillespie who followed us to several shows. Your dedication knows no bounds guys!
We'd also like to thank our live guitarist Jay Parmar who joined us once again on the road. Jay gives up a lot to be part of The Curse Touring unit and we love his company greatly. We sincerely hope that he is around for many more shows to come.
Also, we must thank our sound engineer Ian Toft, our hard working and reliable as a Volkswagon tech Joel Peters and Manager Corey Barkley. We couldn't have done it without them.

Wednesday 11th November - 2009 Replacement show confirmed for The Nightowl in Cheltenham! Sadly we were unable to find a replacement show in the London area in such a short space of time. However we will now be appearing at The Nightowl in Cheltenham on Saturday 5th December.
This will be a special show for our drummer Pete as it's his local area. Glasgow has already set the benchmark for homecoming gigs, can Cheltenham reach those highs ???
Support on the night will be provided by two excellent local bands - Carmen and Andonova.

Thursday 5th November - 2009 London show at The Gaff Cancelled! Due to unforseen circumstances, beyond our control, the Eden's Curse show at The Gaff on Saturday 5th December will not be going ahead as planned.
We apologise if anyone has purchased tickets in advance and request that you contact The Gaff immediately to arrange a refund.
We are working overtime with our Team and with some third party assitance to hastily find a replacement venue in the London region.
If that's not possible we'll try and play somewhere else that does not encroach on the Alestorm tour route.

Monday 19th October - 2009 London Headline Show Announced! Finally we've managed to wrap up our December tour plans with the addition of a date in London at The Gaff on Holloway Road on Saturday 5th December.
Sadly the Alestorm Tour is not going to the capital, as the band have just recently performed at The Underworld, but it was of paramount important to Eden's Curse to get back to the City and we're delighted to be doing our own headline show.
We're in the throws of tying up some excellent support bands also for the dates so watch this space.

Many many apologies for not updating this site sooner, but things have been rather HECTIC around here to say the least!
Straight after our appearance at Bloodstock Open Air 2009 we've been working hard at putting our own headline tour together for December 2009. We had many provisional dates set in place with venues up and down the Country and even a fantastic support band in Arthemis confirmed, but things just kept going against us!
Just when we thought all hope was lost, we were presented, thanks to our new Management Team, with the opportunity to open for Scottish Pirate Metallers Alestorm on their forthcoming December UK Tour, which we were delighted to accept!

In other news we're slowly but surely working on new ideas for the third album. So far, so good, as far as the writing goes. No firm dates are planned yet for recording, but we aim to see how songs have progressed in January 2010 and if all is well start recording in Spring with a release in Fall 2010 being planned. We'll keep you posted on that front!

Hard Rock Hell!
Hot on the heels of the recent Bloodstock Open Air 2009 announcement, Eden's Curse are also delighted to announce that they will be appearing on the Total Rock Stage at Hard Rock Hell III on Friday 4th December at Pontins, Prestatyn Sands, Wales.
Having recently toured with Stratovarius and Firewind in May, of this year, 2009 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for the band with MORE dates still to come!
Please note that the bands Bloodstock Open Air 2009 stage time has been confirmed as 9.30pm - 10.10pm (after Satyricon and before Europe) on the Sophie Lancaster stage.

Bloodstock Festival and more!
Greetings one and all!
Just when you thought that we were resting on our laurels for the rest of 2009 we've actually slipped into a higher gear!
We are delighted to announce that we will be appearing live at the Bloodstock Open Air 2009 festival in Derbyshire, England on Sunday 16th August on the Sophie Lancaster Stage. Our estimated stage appearance time at this moment in is 9pm. If that changes we will keep everyone posted.
The band will be once again joined onstage by Guitarist Jay Parmarwhilst it will also be a live Curse debut for the bands newest member, Keyboard player, Alessandro Del Vecchio.
Notable other appearancesthat day are headliners Europe, plus extreme Metallers Arch Enemy and Satyricon.
We are also putting together MORE live dates for 2009 and not one but TWO very special new releases for our US record label Metal Mayhem Music as a thank you for their backing on our recent debut tour with Stratovarius and Firewind.

You'll find out HERE first of all as always, but Bloodstock will be the first opportunity to pick up release one of this special combo. More news to follow on that front.
We are almost nearing completion on a redeveloped website. We hope to bring that to you soon than later.
The band are also working on new material for the third album. Writing will really kick into a higher gear towards the end of 2009 / beginning of 2010, with the aim of having it completed by Fall 2010.

Alessandro Del Vecchio is the new Keys player!
Eden's Curse are thrilled to announce that they have appointed Alessandro Del Vecchio (Edge Of Forever / Moonstone Project) as their new permanent keyboard player. The experienced Italian musician has toured and recorded with Ian Paice, Glenn Hughes, Andre Matos and a host of other large names in the Rock and Metal world despite his tender age.
Ale lays down some hammond!
Frontman Michael Eden states "When one door closes another opens. With that said The Curse opens the door for our newest member Alessandro Del Vecchio. Ale is the kind of guy that will be a team player and do things with a positive force so we can charge ahead and get more shows lined up and the next studio album underway! The Curse never sold the hot-rod! We just changed the grease under the hood and added a bit of chrome!! See ya on the road and beyond!!".
Bassist and songwriter Paul Logue adds "Ale's not only blew us away with his enthusiasm and keyboard skills, but he's also a fabulous singer and songwriter. Anyone that can bring that much talent, not to mention hair, to the table is welcome in the team. Mark II is alive baby!".
