The End Of Eden

25 Apr, 2019

It is with heavy heart that we announce that having evaluated our past and future, we have reluctantly mutually decided to bring Eden’s Curse to a natural end.

As you will hopefully agree, Eden’s Curse have always set the highest standards when it comes to songwriting, album production, artwork, live performances, set design, merchandising, social media presence and interaction with our fans.

Those high standards require significant investment of our money, our time, our families time and that of our label AFM Records.

To justify continuing this investment we must see benefits such as ever increasing:

- album sales

- concert attendances

- merchandise sales

- potential live opportunities

- booking agency & management interest

Our evaluation has lead us to this point where it is no longer desirable to continue operating as a band.

Nikola, Thorsten, Paul, Chrism and John do this with a great degree of sadness but we all recognise that this is the right decision for us at this time in our career and lives. We began our journey together as band mates and we bring it to an end as friends.

Our thirteen years together have brought us many wonderful experiences. We have been musically fulfilled beyond our wildest imagination and all of us have been dearly humbled by our wonderfully devoted and loyal fanbase.

We thank everyone dearly who has supported us, most especially Timo & Nils and all the wonderful staff at our record label  AFM Records, our producer Dennis Ward, our artist Thomas Ewerhard, our great friends and colleagues Pete Newdeck and Carsten Schulz, Ryan Northrop at Metal Mayhem Music, Andrew McNeice at MelodicRock.com, Akira Sugiuchi at Spiritual Beast plus James LaBrie and Dream Theater, Pamela Moore, Liv Kristine, Doogie White, Shock City Productions and all members of Eden's Curse past and present.

Our website, online store and social media pages will remain online until the end of May 2019.

They say all good things must come to an end.

For the last time ...

Eden's Curse Release New Single

31 Oct, 2018

Eden's Curse are delighted to present their new song & lyric video, 'Forever', which was inspired by the Dan Brown novel 'Angels & Demons' :

https://youtu.be/MLx-1FRFito

Taken from their forthcoming new release 'Testament - The Best Of Eden's Curse', which will be released by AFM Records on 02 Nov 2018, 'Forever' almost ended up on another artists album as Paul Logue explains: “I actually wrote ‘Forever‘ way back in 2005 for Pink Cream 69 singer David Readman’s solo album. His label pushed him in a more AOR direction, so I always kept this one on the back burner - ‘Sign Of The Cross‘ came from the same session. I always knew it would see the light of day and Thorsten and I reworked it and made it more in keeping with where we are today as a band. Back then, I had just read Dan Brown’s brilliant novel ‘Angels & Demons‘ and the lyrics are based around that whole story.“

Testament – The Best Of Eden’s Curse‘ will be released by AFM Records on 2nd November 2nd 2018.

Eden's Curse Announce 2019 UK Tour

12 Oct, 2018

Eden's Curse are delighted to announce their headline Testament UK Tour in April 2019, in support of their new Best Of album, which will be released by  AFM Records on 2nd November 2018.

Joining them on the road will be two very special guests - German Melodic Metal legends Mob Rules and up and coming Swedish Melodic Rock sensations Degreed.

"Mob Rules have been one of my favourite bands for many years and when we were putting the tour together with our booking agency, their brilliant new album 'Beast Reborn' dropped and we also signed to the same
Lucky Bob Music Agency. The omens were there and it just made perfect sense, as musically we are not too dissimilar and they haven't been to the UK in many years." says bassist Paul Logue

Paul went onto add "I had been hearing the name Degreed for a few years now, but never seen or heard them. Eventually I caught them opening for H.E.A.T. last year and they were absolutely brilliant. We then followed them on the bill at Melodic Rock Fest Scandinavia in Sweden, earlier this summer, and I loved what I saw and kept them in mind as possible future touring partners. I'm really glad they accepted our offer. I think it makes it a brilliant package for the fans. Expect an evening of gigantic guitars, titanic choruses and fist pumping anthems!".

“We have two very definite periods of the band, with two vocalists, almost like the Old and New Testaments, which was the influence behind the title and the artwork. Working closely with AFM we compiled a one disc collection that flows exactly like a concert setlist and gives the new listener a perfect introduction to our music and the avid fan a collection of the greatest songs in our arsenal“ stated bassist/founder Paul Logue.

Logue goes onto add “We are very much a band that listens to our fans and one thing we have been asked a lot is – can we have all the bonus tracks on one CD? It’s taken a while, but it’s here at last and with the added bonus of a brand new song called ‘Forever‘. I actually wrote ‘Forever‘ way back in 2005 for Pink Cream 69 singer David Readman’s solo album.

Eden's Curse Sign To Lucky Bob Agency

7 Sept, 2018

We are delighted to announce that we have signed with the Lucky Bob Music Agency.

We have been looking for the right booking partner in Europe for some years now, who can help push the band forward and work on increasing our profile in front of the right audiences and with the right bands. With glowing reports from some of our old touring foes in FirewindGus G and COP UK and not to forget home of local heroes Nazareth - it was an easy decision to join the Lucky Bob family. We are very much looking forward to working with Lucky, Andreas and Lisa on the next chapter for Eden's Curse.
